Mobile laser cleaning, done where your equipment is
We bring the laser to your yard, shop floor or plant and remove rust, coatings, oil and other contaminants from metal surfaces.
Surface prep, done with light
What it is
Laser cleaning is surface preparation done with light. The laser is passed over the part, the contaminant layer absorbs the energy and breaks away, and the base material is left in place.
Nothing touches the part and no chemicals are used, so there’s very little to clean up when the work is done.
Why on site
Mobile service is ideal for industrial facilities and equipment that can’t be transported. The work comes to the equipment instead of the other way around.
That keeps downtime to a minimum: the equipment stays where it works.
- Focused beam. Laser energy is directed at the surface.
- Contaminant breaks away. Rust, paint or oil absorbs the energy and lifts off.
- Metal left behind. The base material stays, with nothing abrasive touching it.
Common jobs
- Rust and corrosion on metal equipment and structures
- Paint or coatings that need to come off
- Oil and contaminants on metal surfaces
- Surface prep before inspection, repair or a protective coating
Questions about laser cleaning
What can laser cleaning remove?
Rust and corrosion, paint and other coatings, oil, and general surface contaminants on metal. If you’re not sure your job fits, describe it or send photos and ask.
Does laser cleaning damage the metal?
It’s designed not to. Laser cleaning is non-contact and non-abrasive, and the energy is set to remove the contaminant layer, not the steel underneath. That’s the key difference from abrasive blasting, which cleans by wearing the surface down and can thin metal and change tolerances.
Can you take on equipment that doesn’t fit a category?
Yes. Oversized assets, non-standard equipment and precision-critical surfaces are evaluated individually for scope and pricing. Describe the job in a quote request.
